Trimming out the Verona - The "Before" video


     It's time for a project. Today I am having moldings and trim work done in the foyer and the den (officially the dining room in the Verona).  I did not buy a molding package with the house as I did not know one was available. I'm confident the package Ryan offered didn't include all this work though.  Today I am posting the "Before" video.  I am getting Chair Rails, picture frame and crown molding.  He will also case the windows and case the openings to the room so they look like doorways.  It should be quite the metamorphosis.   This guy comes highly recommended and so far it's looking awesome! I will post the "After" video on Thursday or Friday. It will be fun moving the 75 gallon fish tank away form the wall.

    I'm sure you will love it. I got the trim package through Ryan but I now wish I would have waited. Anyway, it definitely changes the look and I can't wait to add some upstairs and a chair rail in the living room. Good to see you back.

    We didn't know there were trim packages either. I can't wait to see how yours turns out :)

      The moulding is ambiguously listed near the end of my upgrades printout. I don't recall noticing it. I was always troubled why I had no moulding at all. Then I saw Joiful's blog where she has crown and chair rail. As I started seeing other finished houses here I was surprised to see some moulding too. It's a modest package with a high price but I probably would have done it. On the bright side for the same price Ryan was quoting I am getting a lot more done.
